eBay & PayPal

eBay & PayPal

Affiliates – Commissions -Payments

I thought this information might be of some use to others, eBay and PayPal have been partnered for many years

Making it really easy not just for those who want to buy, but also for sellers to get paid for whatever they are selling

But the first signs of this partnership splitting was when eBay stop affiliates using their platform for selling items through affiliate links

Later on PayPal or it may have been eBay decided to separate and end their partnership, although buyers can still pay on eBay using PayPal

Which is odd, but still later on PayPal started purging affiliated accounts and they are still continuing to do this, which will not benefit them in the long run

As they will in affect by loosing those customers and many more who decide to close their PayPal accounts before having it closed for them

I think it's a great pity that PayPal has taken this unwise and unfriendly attitude towards affiliates, especially if they finishing their partnership with eBay, I fear they will be putting themselves out of business altogether as a result of this

It's also a shame as setting up a PayPal account was easy to do and easy to use as a payment processor, I have noticed there is an increasing flurry of other payment processors attempting to replace PayPal

But as yet none of these new services come anywhere close to offering a free and easy and speed and easy of use that PayPal became famous for
