Are You Using Apps?

Even if don’t think you don’t use apps, it’s a safe bet that you are already using way more than you think!

In order to add a press release at IBO, there is an app, which I hadn’t thought about until now

Many other apps from Google as they many more apps than I thought and they, of course, own all of them, the general idea behind apps is they make life online easier

While others are designed to make working online safer and more secure, but like other software, there are those who chose to use apps to hack or otherwise invade the privacy of other users

So caution is always advised when considering the download of apps

I had never thought of Gmail as an app, but its list on Wikipedia amongst a host of other apps like Hangouts which is still available, although I don’t think it’s as popular as it was

Facebook also owns a fair amount of apps including the private chat to send messages to friends rather than adding the message onto the wall, where everyone can see them

Have you notice just how many there are already, and it seems there are new ones popping up all the time

Not forgetting all the apps you need to be able to use smartphones or android devices

While there are many that are really useful and do make life online a whole lot easier, there even more that promise much but deliver very little

Without naming names I have come across at least two marketers that constantly pump out and aggressively promote new apps

That’s to say they are promoted as new, but having bought into two of these, I found them to be so alike they might as well be direct copies

Claiming to be fantastic traffic fetching software, also giving a false impression there very little work involved as the whole system is easy!

From my own personal experience, this not only far from true, but also involves you giving permission for the owner of these apps to control your personal social sites

I don’t know about you, but I will never allow this or agree to any such invasion, heck these days it’s hard enough to protect your privacy without freely giving away details yourself

Then there are the “Done for You” systems which can sound very appealing especially to newcomers, I doubt these really work and even if they did, this would be a very shallow way of gaining money

It looks like apps are here to stay whether we like them or not
