The Great MLM Home Business Blunder I Promise Never to Do - Contrary to Convention.


This contrary revelation hit me hard in the process of writing Motherlode Marketing - a hands- on Big Picture resource for People Power to harness Internet Profits.

For a long time, as a fair and democratic home business mentor, I have been on the side of the average person with limited time, skills, resources but with a lot of potential and hope. I once thought the power of dreams would suffice ... but experience has proven differently.


So what is the common convention in starting a MLM home business?

When talking with a new prospect, let's talk about your WHY

  • You deserve something different … leave something for future generations
  • You deserve to follow your dreams not bury them  
  • You can't live your life based on excuses and poverty attitudes
  • You are born with natural talents to be used to your best abilities
  • Do not foreclose your dreams because others don't approve
  • Practice, drill, rehearse, practice, drill, rehearse ... fight through fears and recondition the mind to be better and on and on and on.


How many times have you heard  these kinds of WHY reasons you need a home business.  How many times have you pursued these WHY hooks to get people to sign up so they don't end up as LOSERS in the Game of Life.


 In my opinion, this is the greatest MLM blunder when leaders cry loud and long for new prospects to state their WHY ... an emotional WHY … the key to motivation … follow your dreams with hopes for a life of financial freedom.

And some people do build their dreams and even sign up because of an enticing compensation package. Now they have to tell other people to follow their WHY, their hopes and dreams.

Then WHAM! With limited marketing skills, you are cast into a middle of a Multi-level MARKETING BUSINESS LAKE to either swim or sink, as a pre-schooler not a graduate.  It is madness! No wonder so many beginners sink watching their dreams dashed against reality … and once washed away, very difficult to retrieve even when the human spirit burns with common core values of fairness and equality and is open to change.

It is the reason my early mentors said to talk to other top networkers because they understood the system and had followers. This inclusive club is what continues to multiply. But what about all the other people who should also have a fair chance to make money in this new Digital Age, this greatest wealth transition as the world moves from offline to online.


I will not choose to build my home business based on the vulnerability of other people's dreams but rather on solid business principles that work for most people. A primary education is mandatory.


I will ensure that my new business partners will draw their own Motherlode Mindmap based on digital distribution about consumer trends, changes, choices, true building blocks of network marketing and a recommended company with similar vision and goals.

It is imperative that we believe in these core values and get the basics before we DREAM about an online MLM network marketing business.



Imperative! The HOW precedes the WHY!


If we have the right mindmap, the right industry and the right trends, there is no reason to settle for less, to live with fear, insecurity and regrets in survival mode for the rest of our lives.
