Ancient Wisdom about Sick Lion Finds Right Tool in Modern Day Gold Rush in Digital Economy

What wisdom can Aesop share that makes sense in the modern day Digital Economy? More importantly, what wisdom can a sick lion teach so you can apply the moral if you're thinking about an online home business?

The Sick Lion

So it happened that an aging lion became weak, perhaps from illness, perhaps from impending old age. He was no longer able to hunt for his prey and hid away in his den.

However, he called out to any beast that passed by. His voice was low and grating with grunting breaths. The report soon spread that the lion was very sick. There was great sorrow for the repressed king of beasts among the other animals.

One after the other they came to wish him well.

One after the other, alone in the den, the lion made of each an easy prey and grew fat upon his diet.

Soon a suspicious fox came to visit and stood at some distance.

The lion called out, "My dear sweet friend, is it you? Why do you stand away? Come talk with me and comfort me in the short time I have yet to live."

The fox answered, "Excuse me but I will not visit. To tell the truth, I see the mark of footsteps pointing towards your den … and I do not see any returning outwards."

Moral:  Affairs are easier of entrance than of exit and it is but common prudence to see our way out before we venture in.

So how can you apply this ancient wisdom to a home business plugged into the Modern Day Gold Rush on the Internet?

Use as an anology that the Huge Internet of Things is like the King of Beasts. The den is limitless cyberspace. The invitation and pretense is that there are fortunes to be made - enter at your own risk.

The reality is many dreams perish with clever smoke and mirrors. Sadly, once shattered very few dreams return, although hopes still burn brightly.

Fortunately, there is a tool now to help protect your home business success on the internet. It makes your time leaner, it adds Big Picture muscle to your presentation, it creates a stronger mindset with more intelligence, confidence and courage.

Be prudent and better prepared to enter the Cyber Jungle.

Questions and comments are always important. I look forward to learning more about your experiences and dreams.
