What Are Challenges in Keeping People in Your Network Marketing Home Business - Two Problems

What are the Challenges in Keeping People in your Network Marketing Home Business?

Last night the top 12 leaders of our Team of Hope had a roundtable discussion that centered around one question.

But first, quick background, our company is a hybrid of network and affiliate marketing positioned at the top of the E-Commerce and M-Commerce Golden Age. We give away a free App to find the lowest prices online. People save money and we make money by building teams who do the same.

What are the challenges in keeping people in your home business?

Many distributors sign up but not many manage to sign up others and soon drop out.

This is definitely a question and topic close to my heart and mission statement. I am so glad we are finally discussing these issues including the internet disruptions to this traditional home business model.

We must not let the all-consuming Internet of All Things chew up and spit out only the most expensive top guru bones as survival tactics.

Network marketing has always been about average families with above average dreams who apply a little capital and sweat equity to enjoy a better lifestyle and security.

Here are the points I made:

Internet marketing is here to stay. It has produced two problems and one solution:

PROBLEM ONE: It has evolved in the last 10 years based on Self-Branding - how to be applauded on a superhighway in virtual space.  This is a frenzied overload of mutating, sometimes organic, endeavors. Undoubtedly it works if you are selling a singular product not a trusted home business partnership.  It has produced a galaxy full of advertising tools and some amazing leaders.

But network marketing has never been about duplicating leaders. No wonder there is a challenge if we are trying to appeal to internet savvy, role model leaders who are very few and far between.

PROBLEM TWO: It has spawned a competitive host of fast and furious so-called online home business opportunities based on a multi-level matrix compensation plans that are simply pyramid schemes. There are few regulations and uneducated people are heavily preyed upon:  one- time cost of $18 can make you a fortune. The beaten and bruised public perception of this industry grows even more closed-minded.

The need for basic primary information ( call it education if that word doesn't intimidate you) to better understand the time-proven building blocks, the principles and huge value of a network marketing model is imperative. Otherwise, this huge magnetic, yawning, ever-hungry Internet Phenomenon may well destroy all that is right and honorable about this home-based business.

SOLUTION: I am thankful for internet marketing because it has allowed me to Brand Myself as a the Fair and Democratic Home Business Mentor - even if they are key words nobody really searches.

Through my real experiences, I have created a generic all-purpose Big Picture overview of the Modern Day Gold Rush in E-Commerce and M-Commerce industries with the all-important Mission Statement:

Every person must check out the Big Picture of the New Economy, adjust critical thinking, plug into massive trends with a Marketing Plan that every person can follow with or without technical or business skills.

No family should feel disenfranchised from pursuing the Motherlode in the Digital Age.

If this makes sense to you, please check out Motherlode Marketing. Let me know your questions, comments and what you liked, or not, about it.

Excerpt from Motherlode Marketing ... Who would deliberately negate the BIG PICTURE about changing economy, positive mindset, core beliefs, or simplified internet marketing focus. That would be too easy, right?
