The Computer Ate My Good Job But I Want My Share of the Modern Day Goldrush in New Connection Economy

"What our economy is missing is the education for new methods and better ways to do business. Who’s filling the gap? Only network marketing is stepping up to the plate to face this challenge, which is the need to retool people who don’t have the skills, knowledge, contacts, or whatever they need to succeed in today’s economy... by teaching individuals new skills that will help them succeed in a changing world." - Paul Zane Pilzer

Where did all the good jobs go … the kind of steady consistent work which the middle class could build a life around.

The Industrial Manufacturing Age for a 100 years or so provided for economic growth through assembly lines,  standardized workers, union wages which in turn created a housing, retail and mass marketing boom.

Then the computer arrived quietly, patiently, and competently started the race toward faster and cheaper production.

Inevitably, the "good job, profit-driven " employers realized that computers can make reliable, consistent, accountable cheap workers. Soon interconnectivity opened the Globalization floodgates.

This is our New Economy.

Either you serve the computer or it serves you.

Either you are working on specifics  to create a commodity, or you are using new tools to create disruptions and to establish yourself as irreplaceable ... Seth Godin

The saving news, if any, we share a common essential bond with computers. They require networks to function. Likewise,  we can connect to our personal networks for financial security.

The good news, if any, we have a choice.

1. We can isolate ourselves from the new economic changes. Keep churning out the good old ways,  get frustrated with weak results and find blame everywhere.  We didn't ask for it. We don't have to like this shift but we can't deny some kind of a different safety net to transition is needed.

2. We can find value in the connection economy  where people and organizations work together. There is plenty of wealth being amassed with the greatest transition of wealth in human history as the offline world moves online.  The most interesting part is this technology becomes a customer - based  economy driven by what the customer wants, not what the top board directors want.

Our biggest personal challenge is to  create pathways out of a dramatic inequality on the internet - especially with how to make money with home-based programs. There is no reason to believe that society can benefit from income disparity caused by lack of education and business principles.

This is our new chance to adapt to the New Economy and build validity, security and respect from the bottom up where People Power can make Internet Profits in the Modern Day Goldrush. This is no longer a matter of semantics but survival.

To this end, a special generic network marketing resource offers this mission statement for your consideration:

MISSION STATEMENT: Every person must check out the Big Picture of the New Economy, adjust critical thinking, plug into massive trends with a Marketing Plan that every person can follow with or without technical or business skills.

No family should feel disenfranchised from pursuing the Motherlode in the New Digital Economy

I look forward to discussing our New Economy, the Modern Day Goldrush and how to find your Motherlode - it just may be closer than you think.
