How the American Election Changed my Network Marketing Home Business Message and Mindset Forever

 

In the end, I believe every election shows that the power of the individual is still alive and well. We can be a change-agent within our own small circle of acquaintances or across the worldwide internet. In the end, our collective messages and actions will create the changes that are necessary in a global society...

 

As a Canadian neighbor sharing the longest border and much cultural immersion,  I watched the recent American election with much interest.

Doubtless, the most amazing thing I learned went beyond the politicians, the victory, the defeat, or the long political process system as such. It has changed how I regard my network marketing home business forever.

What shocked me the most was the Power of the Message and the interplay between its three parts:

  1. The Message…with its clear goals
  2. The Sender…with purpose of delivery
  3. The Receiver…how the goals and delivery are understood or assimiliated

It was amazing to see the vast range of reception to the same message. Some people loved it. Some people hated it. In fact, the whole range of emotions were exposed - happy, fearful, stressful, vindicated, regretful, all degrees of positive and negative.

The only possible way to account for this wide diversity of feelings or opinions is because of the Fortress Mentality each person builds, better known as MINDSET. This mental fortress has been constructed through years of upbringing, schooling, culture, working, planning, succeeding, failing, hoping and worrying.

 

 

The incoming message penetrates these walls IF there is a common resonance; but, it is blocked if there is any degree of dissonance or disagreement.

 

So how did this change my perception about my network marketing home business? This business is built on 3 principles:

  1. Share the message
  2. Duplicate the message
  3. Earn residual income based on positive message duplication

 

So what kind of message do I need to send to try and penetrate this fortress mindset of people?

Will I send out the whole network marketing website - like a movie with all the details and plot? What are the chances that there will a standing endorsement and participation?

Will I send out a capture page with some important details and invitation to see more? What are the chances that a few details will override the assumption that the movie is not worthwhile?

 

What I will not ever do is send out a message with a hyperventilated  promise that overwhelms the emotional triggers of the brain versus the logical brain about how to build a successful home business. 

I will also limit blogging as a way to penetrate a mindset and stop banner and listing ads that are more annoyances like flies to make any impact. Tens of thousands of "views" - no reactions -  proves my point.

 

As it happens, this dilemma has already been answered. The best online marketing message seems to be found in an automated marketing system where 90% of the work is done for you by professional marketers.

All the slogans, campaigns, videos are ready for you to copy and paste and share on a variety of social media sites. A capture page with a single resonating message or a multi-sensory video will find the people who are looking…suddenly a window in the Fortress Mentality is open to a quick call and possible business relationship.

 

All of a sudden, more people can share and duplicate their home business message!
