Black Friday: How Did YOU Do?

?BLACK FRIDAY:  SUCCESS STORIES WANTED


Well, it is not officially after midnight where I live and while my bedtime chai cools down let me ask the general audience out there.....HOW DID YOUR BLACK FRIDAY EVENTS TURN OUT?

Lately, I have read several posts and blogs regarding various plans marketers were making.  Articles expounding on merits of this and that, thousands (yes, thousands!) of emails enticing for the revolutionary, new, indispensible, etc.....whatever product or service they were promoting at a 'once in a lifetime' offer for 'Black Friday'.... lol

What are the chances of these same promotions being headed my way this coming "Cyber Monday"?  Pretty darn good!  While my own inbox resembled the streets of New York after a ticker parade, at the same time it made me think of the time and effort this represented on each individual's part.  

Do you know what the sad part was?  To see the same, exact wording/intro time after time again.  I bet the person who sold that affiliate package made a real killing this year! All joking aside, it made me wonder why those individuals chose to NOT be individuals! Tons of cloned headings; sure, some really 'smart' ones (imagine sarcasm) re-invented the wheel by plugging in that 'first name' field!  I truly had to laugh, but only for a brief moment.  

At least I can be proud that not one email resembled mine....because I refused to 'hurry' to get them out.  I've had various family, health and personal issues these past few months; I was truly not prepared for 'Black Friday' this year ... and you know what? That's okay, because all good things come in their own time.
