WE - The Desired Outcome Of ME

You’ve all heard the saying “there is no I in TEAM”…… but did you know that “me” is in “we”?  Honest!  Here is the proof:

  1. Write on a piece of paper ME
  2. Turn the paper over and then flip upside down…..voila! WE!

As a person, each of us strives to be recognized for who we are, what we have to offer, what we like/dislike, what we desire, what we think and feel; in other words our own ‘me’.

Society (we) is where a group of ‘me’ become one ‘we’.  We are a group of individuals (me) that live and work together.  Our individual countries (we) are composed of countless individual ‘me’s.  Not being able to adjust our we to the needs of the me have long caused much conflict in various forms across the entire world.  Some prime examples of that conflict are argument, fighting, death, war, divorce…the list goes on and on.  On the other hand, when the ‘me in we’ takes on importance, much can be accomplished.  Some examples of this are Nobel Prize winners/losers; they are a gifted group of individuals working toward the good of all mankind.  Other examples are successful partnerships (including marriage), unions (at least in theory).  The ideal ‘we’ is exactly that…..an ideal, a goal that we as individuals should constantly strive for.

In a ‘regular’ workplace, often individualism is not the desired effect; most production-oriented positions are of this nature….as well as countless other organizations.  “You are not paid to think”….remember THAT one?

As networkers, it is a ‘we’ effort; we support and help each other.  We do NOT take away the ‘me’, the individual person who designs their website/chooses their niche/writes their articles/starts or represents a business/etc.  As a network marketer, I am honored to be a part of IBO and learned of it through a fellow member of another fantastic networking site.

I am proud of ‘me’…proud to be a part of ‘we’.  What about you?
