But, so yeah, granite counter tops, right?
Got tops?
We do. We got some as a Christmas gift for us and those lucky few who live with us (sister, nephew, Dad, etc). It is AMAZING. Have you ever looked at "before and after" pictures of kitchens that were remodeled with granite counter tops? The granite counter tops completely TRANSFORM the kitchen, right? I wanted to post right here the before and after pictures of my kitchen after putting the granite in, but we still need to have the floor done (probably in granite tile) and the cabinets resurfaced and re-stained or re-painted.
We're really excited because I know that almost ALL real estate agents tell us that the biggest focal point for prospective home buyers are the bathrooms and the kitchen. In other words, you get the BIGGEST ROI (Return on Investment) when you invest in remodeling the kitchen and/or bathroom. We put a bunch of money into this Christmas gift for all of us, but, based on what Real Estate agents tell us, the real market value (even after the asking price gets talked down because it often does) went UP on our home about 3-5 TIMES the money we put into the kitchen!
Yeah, we're "ok" (how about ecstatic) with the fact that our granite counter tops just made us a profit of 200-400% on our home when we go to sell it!
Wouldn't you be elated like us in this case?
Anyways, thanks SO much to GraniteMill.net based in the Greater Seattle area and their team of fabricator/installers whom all have at least 15 years of experience who gave us these counter tops! CLASS A workmanship!
