Taste of Gourmet has a brunch bread that is absolutely yummy. I have had the chance to make it a couple of times, and both times I have found the most success with the Stewart's line of soda.
The first time I used the Stewart's Strawberries n' Cream, and the second time I used the Stewart's Cherries and Cream. Both times they turned pink, but the result was absolutely delicious.
You can order the brunch bread at any time through me or the taste of gourmet site, and if you can't find Stewart's where you live, I recommend using your favorite locally produced selection.
If you are a beer bread fan though, Taste of Gourmet carries the Bayou Beer Bread Mix, which you can order from me or from the corporate site.
I have made this bread on multiple occasions, but I do not make it with the recommended beer or sprite.
I made a tweak to it, for when I prepare it for others. The tweak I do, is that I use A&W Root beer, since I cook for a lot of the under 21 set.
When I use the root beer it adds an additional sweetness, that regular beer does not have, and it is not as icky sweet as sprite.
If you have any questions relating to either of these breads, or Taste of Gourmet, drop me a line, and let me know, I will try to answer them to the best of my ability, or find the answer for you.

| | | | | | | | | Thank You David. It really is fun, and I get to invoke my mad scientist side with the culinary experimenting I do. I really enjoy being a consultant for this family-centric company. They really care about their consultants, like extended family. |
