– Matt Aitchison

I was listening to young Matt (he’s pushing 30) on another podcast favorite of mine “Legends & Losers” this week.

If you are not listening to podcasts every week, I encourage you to. It’s the modern equivalent of motivational cassette tapes in your car 20 years ago.

I loved this particular episode - You can listen to it hear

Takeaways (from the podcast)

  • Being wealthy doesn't just mean having a lot of money - healthy relationships, a good community spirit and good health are also wealth on their own.
  • Everybody makes mistakes, but how you respond to those mistakes is what defines your character.
  • Set a goal to be better tomorrow than you were today or the day before. Always strive for continuous improvement

Matt Atchison is a self made millionaire millennial.

Personally, I’m not as struggling to connect with the millennial market. I’m 58 with 15 and 12 year old sons.

Millennials have been raised with a whole different set of life experiences and expectations than I was.

My generation believed that Zig Ziglar adage that “You can have anything you want if you help enough other people get what they want”.

This millennial generation version seems to be “If you help enough other people get what they want you can get what you want”.

It’s a subtle difference but I find it interesting.

Get ahead and help versus Help and get ahead.

Just something to think about. (but not for too long - life is short :)

Bill Bateman (like Batman with an “E” in the middle I tell people on the phone)

PS - are YOU struggling with productivity and organization? Do you KNOW you can do better but frustrated with your results?

Simpleology helps ME a lot. It’s a simple human organization system. You can get a free trial of the “Cadillac Version” by clicking here. But at the end of the free trial you can keep the free version and still get great value
