4 Tools For Focus & Fortune

For additional information  Click Here

That's been one of my mantras - focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it's worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains” - Steve Jobs

My guess is that you agree with me that if you can’t focus you can’t succeed (at least not to the lofty levels many of us aspire to)…

You might accomplish some stuff, hit some goals, be somewhat successful but we know we’ll struggle IF we struggle with focus...

I LOVE “rabbit holes”. I’m a self diagnosed ADD aholic. I often have 10 tabs open on my browser and then jump on the phone to leave 3 quick messages while I simultaneously text 4 people.

In my car I have my earbuds on and I’m talking to a customer while I'm listening to talk radio and at the house my TV is one while I”m doing a blog post...

On one level I know that’s just me but another level I know that’s a lot of people.

Many entrepreneurs struggle with distraction, are blessed with a high level of creativity and energy and NEVER live up to their potential because…

Of that “focus” thing...

I’m really grateful to be featured on IBO today - 39 times so far - and I’m “high five” thankful while I ‘take it for granted” at the same time.  I get a little anxiety if more than 50 days go by and I’m NOT featured. Then I feel a bit guilty (could be my Catholic upbringing :) that we don’t have more first time FMOTD’s taking my place.

Distraction is my daily bread. But over time I’ve learned that too much bread (literally or metaphorically) ain’t that good for me…

I need the “F” word - I need focus…

Here are 4 tools I REALLY use every day that I find help me. Might help you - might not.

HeadSpace

Always thought the concept of meditation was “cool” but I could never could actually do it until I heard Tim Ferriss (the 4 hour work week guy) endorse HeadSpace and I followed through.

The 10 minutes (sometimes 20) I invest every day (81 days in a row as of today) are THE best 10 minutes of the 24 hours of my day.

Click on the link and you’ll get a month of HeadSpace for free (on me). It’s not an affiliate link (they don’t have any). It’s my gift to you to get some more “space” between your ears...

Focus@Will

I’m listening RIGHT NOW to F@W because it keeps me focused. It’s in my ears.

The science is fascinating but I was convinced with the results after using it for ONE long day. I got way more done that I usually do. (I’m hooked on the classical music version - but there are multiple musical variations)

Simpleology

I have a “love hate relationship” with Simpleology. I love that it’s glorified “to do list” makes me more productive but like a year at a martial arts dojo I hate that I have to pay attention to the basics.

There’s a free version - $57 a month “super version” and $7 a month version (the one I use). Mark Joyner (the owner is a VERY smart - ex-military - special ops sort of guy). Some of the biggest companies in the world use it. Many of the internet “who’s who” do too…

Click Funnels

Mark Joyner and MANY of the “A list” of online marketers use the Clickfunnels program to build their sales funnels.

I do too.

The version I use cost $300 a month (it IS the “super version”)

This might seem “off the path” on a “focus” post but ClickFunnels helps many (me included) focus their marketing by keeping the sales funnel process simple.

You can work with me as an affiliate even if you can’t afford the $37 a month to $300 a month 40,000 people pay to be ClickFunnels users. So if you have more ambition than cash flow right now and you LIKE the offer ClickFunnels has for the market - give me a call and get your questions answered.

Hope you have had a great 2017 and I hope 2018 will be even better for you.
