Bill Bateman   My Press Releases

Featured Members IBO week ending 3-10-2018

Last night, like most of America, I lost an hour of sleep for no fault of my own. Instead, it was because of the 1966 law that enacted “Day Saving Time” in most of the USA.

70 other countries apparently have this same practice.

However, the people of Arizona and Hawaii don’t have to endure the “clock change” that the rest of the country does. Neither do the residents of US territories Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and Guam.

But the rest of us have to deal with the consequences twice a year. When I went to church this morning, the crowd was much less than usual. That happens every year when the time changes because people sleep in.

Restaurants with a big breakfast business report the same thing, the time change affects their business negatively.

On a personal level, it usually takes my 2 kids about a week to adjust to the difference and “grouchy” is the polite way to describe teenagers an extra shy of sleep.

So if this weeks post is an hour later than usual, I”m blaming the time change :)

Despite that, never been a better time to be a participating member here on IBOToolbox.

Publishing this weekly “recap” of some of the most active members, the “Featured Members of The Day” on IBOToolbox is now in its 219th week.

If you are new to this post (or coming back to IBO after being away for a while), this post is for the benefit of folks who want to know who the previous weeks FMOTD’s were…

Years ago I couldn’t find this list recorded anywhere else. That inspired me to create this series and to continue it ever since.

In my Lists of Posts you can see all the of the Featured Member posts done previously.

If you are looking for a particular week just scroll through the last 200+ weeks.

Unlike any other social media site I know of, IBOToolbox/IBO Social recognizes 1 person (or business entity) every day for as that day's “Featured Member of the Day”.

The abbreviation “FMOTD” is an IBO platform  “slang” that is meant to mean the same thing as “Featured Member of the Day”

Activity and the Consistency of that activity is what determines who becomes the FMOTD each day.

A computer algorithm is used to determine who the FMOTD is each day based on member activity. All the members are compared, based on that algorithm.

.

I can tell you from experience that being featured blends participation of the 5 activity areas with the consistency of those actions over time.

But “officially” the “specifics” of the algorithm are a trade secret.

If YOU want to be a Featured Member of the Day first start by signing in every single day (preferably twice a day). Then be sure to focus on ...

  • PR/Video comment Activity (every day)
  • Being sure you have a completed and current profile (1st  & foremost and Up To Date!)
  • Daily Wall Activity (greet some new members & comment on a wall post or 2)
  • Regular (probably 2 a week minimum) Press Releases
  • Advertising Activity (with earned or purchased credits)
  • Referral Activity (that’s something you only get by sharing your IBO links)

Consistently maintain those 4 (OR MORE) stars & participate (even for a little while) every day,  and the odds are high that you will earn the FMOTD designation sometime soon.

Be aware also that an IBO rule is that no member can be featured more frequently than every 45 days under any one of their accounts. (Some people have more than 1 IBO account)

Usually each week some FMOTD’s are “IBO Veterans”  and some are relatively new on IBO.

.

But being featured is about consistent activity over a concentrated period of time NOT about how long you have been an IBO member.

If you have not yet been featured I’m looking forward to seeing that for you in 2018.

If you already been featured, I look forward to seeing you featured again.

You can click on the name of any FMOTD in this post for more detailed information about them.

I encourage you to take a minute and get to know each FMOTD  starting with (if you haven’t already) sending them a connection request.

The Featured Members tend to be high-value contacts.

These are the people you want to “know, like & trust” and that you want to “know, like and trust” you.

For the week ending 3-10-2018, the Featured Members were...

 - this last week’s featured members of the day(s)

Bill Bateman - (like Batman with an “E” in the middle you’ll often hear me say if/when we talk on the phone)

PS - If you struggle to keep organized you are probably in the majority of Entrepreneurs? The Simpleology program rescued me and helps keep tens of thousands of busy Entrepreneurs focused and effective.

I use Simpleology to keep myself and my businesses “on track”

If you’d like a free account - click here and take the free trial. You can change to the totally free version without EVER upgrading (but consider upgrading) AND you can be a Simpleology Affiliate at the same time (no cost of course)

PPS - I’m “all in” with Russell Brunson and the ClickFunnels folks and (of course) I need customers BUT I REALLY need people looking to build their own business as affiliates (and you can do that totally for free) - Take  the 2 week free trial (so you know what we sell) but if you don’t have the budget (or the time) to use the program yourself cancel during the free trial and you’ll still be in business with me and I have LOTs of leads (more than I can follow up on)
