My series of personality types continues with the third of four colors today as I talk about the color blue. Let's review before we continue, reds are "show the facts" kind of folk who may seem rude and impatient. That is just the way God made them. They are driven and focused, you have their attention for a brief time and then you loose them (or they loose you). Learn to cater to the detail and get to the point and you can win them over. The second personality type is green. I am most closely associated with greens, I suppose. We are analytical, we want to know the "ins and outs" the historical data, the forcasts, blah, blah, blah... I know - overkill! But again, it is how God made me(us), and if you learn to mix facts with urgency; we are committed. Now to the point at hand, the blue. Blues are the life of the party. It's gotta be fun for the blue! These are the type that are the social butterfly. Have a drink before the meeting, have a drink after the meeting...If it is fun, they are in. Blues are crucial because their interest in fun, makes it fun for the group or team. It proves that all of the types are crucial for a great team. Blues may be the glue that holds things together.
