Parties Are Your Office – & you Must Make That Time Count!

Flexibility is a big reason that many are drawn to our business but be careful not to “flex” yourself right out of business by continually putting your business last!

Working your Parties more efficiently and effectively will really help maximize your results and reduce the additional “office hours” you need to put in. Book future Parties at your Parties

Have the open dates on your calendar clearly identified to help you confirm Party bookings and minimize call back situations

Have Host Packets ready to go at Parties

Briefly Host Coach your new Hosts at the Party by going over the contents of the Host Packet and scheduling a specific time for a follow up call. Don’t play phone tag! Sponsor at your Parties
Have Sponsoring Brochures on hand

Expect to sign the prospect on the spot (it only happens when you are prepared so be ready to get online and enroll them at the Party if possible)

Always have “open dates” each week for sponsoring conversations with prospects. Remember that you can be flexible about bringing children if you have locations in mind that give the kids something to do while you complete your conversation (i.e., McDonald’s Play Land)

Up sell!...

Pay attention to what guests are ordering and make suggestions for complementary products to “add on” to their order. Pre-write a thank you note to your Host and put it on her fridge with your magnet before you leave her house. Leave your Host with her copy of the customer receipts from the Party

Double check that the order form is completely filled out while they are standing there and don’t forget to note a form of payment (check, cash, credit card) Pack your samples up so they are ready to go out the door again to the next Party

Reorganize your paperwork, making a mental note of supplies to restock before your next Party. Whenever possible, close your Party THAT night.

With good Host Coaching, your Host will have their wish list waiting and be ready with orders ahead of time from anyone that could not attend the Party.

By the time you get home from a Party your kids may already be asleep so use that time to go ahead and submit your Party that same evening.

Also, make notes on each guest order form with any information you gleaned from them. It will help you to recall them and personalize any future contact with them.

Things don’t always go just as planned at every Party but even using a few of these ideas will
help you work your business more efficiently. Give it a try!
