Criteria for your MLM or Online Marketing Business to Go Viral

Competition in the MLM/Network Marketing arena is fierce. Most experienced networkers  know that the odds of earning a full-time income are slim. Studies show that 97% will fail. With over 2500 MLM companies in the United States, you need to do a thorough due diligence when choosing the right opportunity. Know that only 50 companies have survived more than 25 years. There are 7 ingredients you must look for to increase your chances for success. If you are wanting your business to grow virally, you must look for these.

1) You must have a unique, niche product or service. 80% of MLM companies are selling health and nutrition products. It is very difficult for you to stand out if you have 100's of companies selling essentially the same products.The latest rage is selling anti-aging nutritional drinks - Noni, Monavie, Rev Up 31, Eternity, etc. Each claims to be better than the other, and often you can buy a similar product for far less at your local retailer.

2) People/prospects must be looking for your product. Most people do not like being sold but prefer to shop and make their own buying decision. Most informed consumers today know that most vitamin pills, potions, and lotions sold by MLM companies are over-priced, making it very difficult for you to sell unless you are an experienced marketer and have a huge following.

3) You want a product that has little competition. Every Tom, Dick, and Harry, for example, is selling telecommunication product and services. Unless you got in early and are at the top of the company, your chances of developing a residual income are very small. You would be better off treating yourself to a vacation in Las Vegas.

4) The product or service must be very easy to understand and explain. MLM companies will tell you that your priority should be selling the company's products first, but the "reality" is that is that you will be selling the "dream" of financial freedom and the Opportunity. When you are presenting the Opportunity, the compensation plan should be very easy to understand and explain. Most are not.

5) The product must easy and quick to implement. A product that needs to be shipped by a middleman may be delayed and may take several weeks to arrive. By comparison, digital products can be sent to a computer in an instant.

6) The Compensation plan must allow you to produce income immediately, within 30 to 60 days. Otherwise, most will get discouraged and lose their initial enthusiasm.

7) You need to be able to sign up a new customer immediately as an affiliate or representative. And, incidentally, you must have Fun with your business and make it a ton of fun to work with you.

These 7 things are only scratching the surface if you want your business to grow virally and survive in the jungle of network marketing.The time you spend analyzing the products, the industry, the competition, how quickly the product can be implemented, and how quickly you can produce results, will be critical to your success.
