Okay, I'll be brief with this blog. I want to share a few pointers about networking online and offline. If you've read any of my other blogs, you know I network in a certain manner that works for me.
What I'm about to share with you might surprise some of you. Going offline. That's right going offline. No I'm not saying to abandon your online networking efforts. I'm actually trying to help you maximize your networking efforts way beyond those who choose to do nothing else but sit behind their computers.
Here's The Deal:
1. You meet online
2. You contact by phone or Skype
3. You find out how you can help each other
4. You determine how strategic you want to become
Now here's where you separate yourself from others. We have to remember it's the person who has the mind share not the market share. In our arena, we have to get in the minds of people and they have to think of us before they think of anybody else. The key to getting others thinking about you is not just talking about yourself but to get your network talking about you.
Networking offline is where the action is. In the case of folks who are members of IBOtoolbox, there is a distinct advantage. We are privileged to see what our network partners are doing on behalf of others everyday. So when we connect offline, perhaps in a "Meet and Greet," we strengthen our relationships and form a bond greater than that of those we solely network with online only and those we network with offline only.
It's a dynamite way to leverage your exposure by working online and offline. I hope you get what I'm saying here. This isn't new or something nobody else is doing. But it is something strategic marketers do.
If you really want to take your business to another level, be the one to initiate a "Meet and Greet" in your area with fellow IBO associates. Automatically you get leverage because you're connecting with people who are already like minded when it comes to the online experience. The bigger deal is now the connections gain more solidarity than whatever kind of connection you thought you had online.
Listen, got to get back to work but I will be writing more. Oh, btw, be on the lookout for a "Meet and Greet" coming to your city. Better yet, be the one to host and/or lead it.
