Innovative Evangelism With a Discipleship Twist

Evangelism and Discipleship are more than methods we utilize to build our churches. It's happening all over the globe and it's spoken of among a variety of people groups. The big question is should those who disciple others be paid for discipling others?

When we think of discipleship, we often think of men and women giving of their time to help somebody become the best version of themselves by taking the advice based on the experience of a person who has been where they are. Experienced disciple makers earn the right to speak into the lives of their disciples over time and they gladly share their experiences with the folks they are assisting to reach their goals in life, business, ministry or whatever their goals might be.

Today, disciple makers are faced with an interesting new twist when it comes to discipleship. Many who approach disciple making as a profession are finding ways to be paid to make disciples. The resources they offer to their disciples and are the reason they are compensated. The disciple makers have discovered new ways to be paid for making disciples without directly charging their disciples. Their recommendation of certain resources to their disciples compensates them for the time they are giving to their disciples.

One of the challenges disciple makers are facing is not all disciples can afford the resources recommended. The challenge now becomes, disciple makers are now beginning to prequalify their disciples to ascertain if they have the means to purchase resources they know they will be recommending. This could potentially lead to some want to be disciples being left in the dark because they don't have the funds to purchase the resources offered.

So what's really going on with discipleship? Is it slowly becoming a profession where the disciple makers are becoming mentors are monetizing their efforts by offering resources? Of course free mentoring still exists. But how long will it take for those who are mentoring for free to catch onto the idea that they can get paid to mentor?

A project that has come up recently is called Paid 2 Mentor. It is designed to pay Christian Mentors who assist fellow believers in an innovative evangelism project.

The simplicity of the Innovative Evangelism Project:

1. Each mentee must have a love for Jesus

2. Each mentee must be willing to share their personal testimony of how they came to know Jesus on an internet platform recommended by their mentor.

3. Each mentor must be willing to mentor others who have a love for Jesus and personal testimony.
This particular project assures that the mentors are compensated a residual income as their mentees continue to host their personal stories on the internet platform recommended by the mentor. In essence the mentors are getting paid to mentor.

Just for treating their mentoring assignment like a profession, mentors are now being compensated a lifetime residual income that can range from hundreds of dollars a month to hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.
As you can imagine, there are people inquiring about because of the twist they have introduced to the mentoring arena.

For years, mentors have been expected to do what they do for free. Many of them feel as though they have been taken advantage of for many years yet they continue to mentor. Perhaps it's time mentors be compensated for the work they do assisting others to become the best version of themselves. It shouldn't be a shock because professionals who do well at anything get paid. Mentorship can be done as a hobby or it can now be done as a profession.

There has been inquiry after inquiry about People are literally wanting to know what must they do to be paid. is an innovative evangelism project created by Ced Reynolds. Visit to find out more info.
