I'm pretty sure it's fairly safe to say that if you are reading this article then you are looking for something far more in your life than what you have right now.
You might be searching for a new business, a new venture, some part-time income or even a hit from the numbers you played but it all comes from one place within - dissatisfaction of present circumstances and a desire to have more.
Those of you that have been doing business for a while might already be quite successful at what you do, and that's great but there is a possibility that you might just be bored.
But overall, what you are seeking to find is a change. I'll let you in on a little secret...
A change in your life will come when you first make a change in yourself.
Now is the time to decide if you want silver or gold. How about striving for platinum? You are the only person who can make it happen.
Basically, if you want more out of life you have to put more into life. A fundamental way to do this is to start educating yourself.
You can't expect more in the years to come if you don't change your mindset.
All things change all the time.
At some point, we need to look at ourselves and make certain changes. Reinvention has never hurt anyone. You can start a new and exciting phase in your life. Do it now because time is limited.
Read more books, attend seminars, educate yourself as much as possible. Don't be the type of person that expects different results but doesn't do anything different to achieve those results. Those are usually the people that complain and have pity parties all the time. Remember, they want you to be miserable with them.
Let me ask you a few questions:
How much time did you spend eating this past week?
What about the time you spent feeding your brain?
Why feed one more than the other?
Of course the answer to the first question may not be quite accurate, but the other two can be answered with no second thought. You see the problem?
These are the issues we need to think about and fix.
When you think intensely about things, it will often lead to action and action leads to change. That is what you want, isnt it?
The non-achievers walking around are the ones making excuses. It becomes their profession. It's sad to say but true. Who else spends a lot of time and effort making excuses
for sitting around and not being productive. The funny thing is that all that time and effort which was wasted on achieving nothing could have easily been used to do something positive.
You don't have to be a genius to learn, you just have to be willing to learn.
About a year ago, I decided to make a drastic change. Instead of sitting around moping about what I didn't have, I knew I had to make some changes to get what I wanted. People aren't used to seeing others like themselves succeed where I'm from but my mindset was still focused on greatness.
I hadn't had a job in three years and it came to a point where I didn't want a job. Really? Yes, really. I knew that there was something greater for me out there.
I don't believe in luck but I do believe in blessings. I fell into the loop of internet marketing and haven't looked back since.
I had to X out all of the negativity and get away from the non-believers. If you want success you have to connect yourself with those who are successful.
I joined Empower Network about a month ago and I've met extraordinary people. There's nothing like networking with people who want to see you do well and provide you with innovative ways to do that.
Now when people ask "How are you?" instead saying "Not bad" I can say "I'm fantastic".
My financial status has changed tremendously and it will only get better, why?- because I took action.
Now just to touch base on a few things, the longer you waste time the more things will stay the same.
I can't tell you what to do but do something and do it now. Educating yourself is the easy part. But while you are doing that, you should also be applying what you're learning at the same time.
"Good knowledge will give you potential power. Acting on good knowledge gives you power." Now those are powerful statements.
If you go the extra mile, you won't have any more excuses. These suggestions are to encourage you and allow you to change.
Of course, if you want, you can always stay as you are. The choice is completely yours. But if you're not satisfied in your life and you want to make improvements, go for it.
Here's something you've probably heard before:
There are basically three types of people in this world...
People who make things happen.
People who watch things happen.
People who say "what happened?"
If you're in one of the last two groups, prepare yourself and do this:
Invest in yourself
Learn something new
Apply what you learned
