5 C's. How To Use Video To Captivate Your Audience.

Published on 7/7/2014
For additional information  Click Here

You don’t need me to tell you how powerful a medium video
is.

CHECK OUT 5 WAYS TO CAPTIVATE YOUR AUDIENCE USING VIDEO

Videos makes use of  2 out of 5  main senses,
namely:

  1. Auditory - Hearing

  2. Visual – Sight

This is huge, because 90% of communication is no verbal, but
when you combine audio with visual you bring the other senses into play.

But what do you really need to do in order to capture your
users attention, and make the most of your videos?

It’s not just enough to turn on a camera and just ramble
away without having certain elements in place to begin with.

That’s a sure way to turn off many of your viewers.

In addition to having decent lighting and sound so that
people can at least see you and hear you properly there are other key elements
that will make your video captivating.

That’s exactly what this video will share with you.

Introducing the 5 C’s

  1. Curiosity

  2. Credibility

  3. Cliff Hanger

  4. Content

  5. Call to action

Curiosity is what get’s people to even watch the video in
the first place. Think about newspaper headlines.

You know the above the fold ones, (Yes where the paper is
folded in half), and what shows on the top half of the page.

Credibility pertains not only to the source, but the
competency of the person in the video. Do you believe what they are saying?

Cliff Hanger is used in major soap opera’s to keep you on
edge, wanting to know what happens next. A car is driving at full speed towards
and intersection, at the same time another vehicle is driving at full speed
towards the same intersection.

And just as they get close, the scene ends and you have to
tune in next time to find out what happened.

Content is key, why else will anyone stick around. People
don’t want to watch garbage so always deliver good value and content.

Call to action is what most video lack, and while you can
nail the previous 4 C’s, the 5th one is crucial.

So here’s my call to action.

Find out more about these 5 C’s by watching the video below
now.
