What's the best way to stay optimistic?

So you want to know the best way to stay optimistic?

That's easy..

Think about everything that you are grateful for in your life right now.

Especially with all that's currently going on not only in the U.S, but the whole world.

This is a classic case of your glass being either half empty or half full.

You know, even when times are hard, there will be a lot of things that you can point to that you are grateful for in your life.

So count them.

And be grateful for them.

And I know there will be plenty of things that you can point to.

It’s like the person who complained that he had no shoes; until he came across the person who had no feet.

“A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.”– Winston Churchill

Yes I know that you may be going through extremely hard times.

And yes I know that perhaps I don't know what if feels like to be in your shoes.

However everyone at some point in their lives will face some hard times.

Some adversity.

The question then becomes, how do you perceive them?

For in the words of Oscar Wilde, "We're all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars".

Make sense?

Start focusing on the positive and remember that there will always be tough times ahead - it’s how you interpret them that counts.

Now make today the best day of the rest of your life.

P.P.S Each person holds so much power within themselves that needs to be let out. Sometimes they just need a little nudge, a little direction, a little support, a little coaching, and the greatest things can happen.
