Confidence is going on stage in front of millions of people and playing a musical instrument. There are adults

and children who perform everyday. Of course they practice like it is going out of style. It never ceases to

amaze me. :)

They have discipline that determines their destiny. :) Naturally, they sincerely, enjoy what they are doing.

They practice their craft at least a thousand times until it becomes instinctive. The instrument may be

dancing or singing, as well. The use of a mirror often comes on handy. :)

This confidence builder takes place at school or home school lessons. You can either go to classes or the

coach/trainer comes to you. Some people like to work in a room full of people. Where as, others work

better with private lessons. It all depends on the student to teacher ratio.

As a child, I took piano lessons at home, on the weekend. When I got to high school, my lessons were on a

daily basis and with a room full of people. That way I experienced the best of both worlds. I also took

private lessons after school. Every little bit counts. They say that kids who study music do better in

school. :)

Fortunately, I was able to perform as needed, during the semester. Because, I neither took lessons in the

summer nor after high school. I guess my priorities changed. Moreover, I did not realize how important it

was to remain consistent. Now I realize that I am not the only one.

Over the years I have found many other things to occupy my time. Some of us are Jack of all trades. Others

become Masters. I still think it is all relative. You are a culmination of all your activities.

The bottom line is to maintain your confidence. Focus on you strengths and not your needs. Develop

that skill of yours. Furthermore, stop worrying about what others are doing. Just do you! After a while

you will be good enough to teach others. :)
