Happy Memorial Day 2018

Happy Memorial Day to YOU :) Thank you for your service and all the sacrifices you have made. We genuinely

appreciate all of our veterans.

You joined the Army either voluntarily, or as a recruit. While you were there, you became physically fit and

stronger. You endured so much that you became a real survivor. You know the true meaning of torture.

Not only are you our heroes, but you are your own hero. Some of you teach us how to recover from a

disability. You made us more aware of PTSD or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

We see what perseverance is, through you. Many of us have witnessed rehabilitation. Few of us have dealt

with suicide. The important thing is that recovery is possible.

In the Navy, not only did you sail all over the world, but you learned data entry, for example. Additionally,

you became selfless soldiers. You served as Medics to fellow troops.

Moreover, in the Army National Guard, for example, you became Science and Technology or STEM specialists.

It obviously takes a lot of strength and courage to succeed. Not to mention the food rations you learned to

live on. Talk about portion control :)

Apparently, you did not do it for the benefits. Because they say there are no guarantees in life. You most

likely, did it for the discipline. :-)

Further, the Marines made you experts on ships. There is no way you could have been sea sick. If anything

you became a strong swimmer. That is another way to exemplify your altruism.

Finally, the Air Force trained you to fly, fight and stay alive. I see why your children have such a strong

will to live. It must be in the DNA. If you were ever betrayed, your skills and trades prepared you well.

Gosh, we learned more from you than we realize. Thank you so much! God Bless!
