Then get more. You are not a tree, hoping that the right wind will come by, or the right bird to land in your branches, or the right rains to fall and bring you refreshing water.
Dr. Seuss says it this way:
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself
Any direction you choose.
Steering yourself may look like heading to the library to get a book that will help fill some of your gaps. It may look like heading to a website to find some nuggets from a mentor. If you need more - go get it. But let me caution you....
Before you take one step outward, running toward some one size fits all solution, take a deep breath and seek an inner answer. Believe it or not, everything you need to succeed is already inside of you. Pre-wired.
That's great news because it means that YOU ARE ALREADY A WINNER - you are just putting on the finishing touches before introducing your genius to the world. Now connecting with the authors and motivators and mentors - there is a place for that. Just know they are the icing, not the cake.
Go West, young man, was a popular phrase directing the early Americans toward further expansion to claim its manifest destiny. I am encouraging you to move on yet another azimuth - go INWARD young man (young woman), in order to release your undeniable destiny.
We are all leaning forward waiting to meet the best you.
What if all you have is not enough? Trust me... Trust yourself - it is more than enough. I encourage you that in this entrepreneurial dance of shooting for riches, you will win at a higher level if you sharpen your "who" and bring your best game to the table.
