There is none.
I can pretend and pontificate, and even philosophize about the intangible peace of the inner journey and faith building that surely comes to surface when the money runs low. But you have heard it all before and I am choosing not to tickle your ear and give you the "every cloud has a silver lining" pitch.
And that is challenging for me because my husband says I ALWAYS look on the bright side.
That has not changed nor am I daunted. I am just choosing to examine the LOSS when it comes to being broke, as opposed to any GAIN.
When you are broke, you are at your rope's end, feeling like you are out of money, time and solutions. The sense of loss is heavy and ever present and often there seems to be no way out.
Finding a NEEDLE IN A HAYSTACK or a new business opportunity that will sustain you, is like discovering water in the desert. The better solution is not in receiving MONEY, but in receiving OPPORTUNITY. Opportunity is a shovel, a tool to dig your way out, should you get buried again. Money on the other hand, just puts the fire out, on the spot, but does not stick around.
I am so grateful for opportunities - a chance to step up to the plate again, and make contact with the ball. I am grateful for the opposing team, the strength to lift the bat, my teammates, and the spectators. All of these entities make for an interesting and passion-filled game.
Stop being broke and get in the game - this is where the action is - and we have a spot for you.
