Stay at home mom benefits are practically immeasurable. They start with an overall assessment of the children and they end with a wholesale evaluation of the mom. As a stay at home mom of almost twenty years, I must say this has been one of the most fulfilling seasons of my life. Sure, like many of you I have degrees and world class training and preparation to do great things on the world stage. And then came the children….
They changed everything - my goals, my views, and my strategies for success. I can now look at them and evaluate the investment, holding them under the light and say… it was well worth it. My children have confidence, skill, ability, and enthusiasm about their future. Those qualities rank high when reviewing stay at home mom benefits. They also run side by side with solid self-esteem, valuing others, and maintaining good stewardship over their property and space. I attribute much of that to being home with them and being able to take the time to manage them and put them on a firm foundation.
These results are not kudos for me or pats on the back to them. It is just an honest assessment of what can be done, in the light of bullying, gangs, sexual exploration, and being brain washed by the culture. Now I am not a gardener by any stretch of the imagination but I do know that if you put seeds in the right soil, they will flourish. And on the flip side, as you are watching them, they are watching you. They watch and see how you operate under stress, make decisions, manage and prioritize your day or your relationships.
Stay at home mom benefits abound - they grow; you grow - and the best part about it is at the end of a good journey, a solid season, you can sit back and count your blessings and confidently release these children onto the world stage. Lots of times mothers think they have no options when it comes to staying at home - they think they cannot afford it. I used to feel the same way, until I discovered the joy of working from home and making a sizable income, all while keeping a close eye on your treasures.
