Why are boxing rings square?

Why is it that people say they 'slept like a baby' when babies wake up, like, every two hours?
Why do banks charge a fee on 'insufficient funds' when they know there is not enough?
If money doesn't grow on trees then why do banks have branches?
If a deaf person has to go to court, is it still called a hearing?
Why does the sun lighten our hair, but darken our skin?
Who tastes dog food when it has a 'new & improved' flavour?
When someone asks you, 'A penny for your thoughts, 'and you put your two cents in, what happens to the other penny?
If lawyers are disbarred and clergymen defrocked, doesn't it follow that electricians can be delighted, musicians denoted, cowboys deranged, models deposed, tree surgeons debarked and dry cleaners depressed?
Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?
