Questions About CBD

Questions remain regarding the safety considerations raised by the widespread use of these products.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is working to create a regulatory framework for hemp-derived CBD, it’s also cracking down on companies that are in its view irresponsibly marketing CBD products and making unsanctioned claims about their medical benefits.

This Tuesday the FDA announced that it and the Federal Trade Commission sent warning letters to three such companies last month: PotNetwork Holding in Florida, Nutra Pure in Washington state and Advanced Spine and Pain in New Jersey.

The letters were sent “in response to their making unsubstantiated claims related to more than a dozen different products and spanning multiple product webpages, online stores and social media websites,” FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb said in a press release.

Egregious, over-the-line claims won’t be tolerate, this kind of deceptive marketing to vulnerable patients

Some drug stores recently announced they will begin selling CBD-infused products.

Remember when you are buying CBD make sure they are made in a FDA facility. Doctor approved. There are still a few businesses that have approved CBD Hemp oils and are legal to sell oer the internet. We happen to be one that planned ahead and had our made in a FDA facility. Make sure you check out our paperwork. It is our goal to produce the best product on the market.
