Cost Of Business| Part 2

If you’re in the home based business industry you need to be in one business or building one income, especially if you’re new or struggling and not producing results. You don’t need to be involved with 2 to 6 different businesses, because if you can’t make one business work then you can’t make any other business work. There are 2 primary reasons for this and the first reason is no skill. All home based businesses require the same skill, effort, and energy to succeed. There’s nothing wrong with multiple streams, but if you’re new and struggling you shouldn’t try and take on more than one business.

Cost of Business

Stay away from anyone who imposes more than one business opportunity on you. If you have to sign up for a bunch of things to join a team refrain from doing that, because you’ll end up spending more than you actually earn. They are some exceptions because you need tools to build online. Here are some examples.

  • A domain name is something that you’re going to need and it costs $15 a year.
  • Hosting is the next thing that you need to buy and you’ll pay anywhere from $120 to $200 a year which is about $10 - $20 a month depending on which provider you use.
  • Auto responder which is about $300 a year average, so you’re looking at about $25 a month.

Hosting and an auto responder are services that you are going to need. These are operational costs and they’re not that expensive. If you come into my coaching program you are looking at $35 a month tops.

  • Lead capture and sales funnel software and if you come into my coaching program you’re only going to pay $125 one time. There’s no sense in paying monthly for a 3rd party lead capture system.

A part of being in business is making sound business decisions, and not spending more money than you need to. If you base everything off value and understand the components that you need than you will keep your costs low. You never want to get involved with something and have to say that you have to pull out because you can no longer afford it. Operating a home based business is extremely affordable, but there’s a lot of nonsense on the internet that makes a lot of new and struggling marketers think that they have to spend excessively in order to earn. I will continue part 3 of this series in the next video so look out for the next blog post. Comment below your thoughts or experience so far in the home based business as far as how much money you’ve spent to build your business overtime.
