Free Affiliate Marketing Training For Beginners

To recommend the best free affiliate marketing training for beginners, I would have to suggest Affilorama. Affilorama offers beginner affiliates a large selection of videos and pdf documents that offer the much needed assistance. Affilorama doesn't sell hype. They don't promise to turn you into a millionaire by buying a $12 eBook. Their mission is to motivate you to get the right mindset and serve you the right information to get started.

The first thing that is explained is what is affiliate marketing and how to make an income while working from home. And how to get started with affiliate marketing even if you're not ready to go through the hoops of getting a website and all the steps that go with that. Affiliate marketing is more widespread than many people actually realise. Some people are using search engine ads and social media ads to rake in big ticket commissions.

They also tell you how to find affiliate programs as well as listing some well known affiliate networks. Networks many affiliates use are Clickbank and Amazon. Clickbank features mainly digital information products that don't require the buyer to wait or pay for shipping. Amazon also stocks digital products as well as physical products.

In relation to commissions Clickbank pays higher commissions than Amazon. Most Clickbank products offer a 50% commission of the sale price, while Amazon's starting commission is 4%. The difference is Amazon is a huge online shopping mall with some high ticket items. If your customer clicks your link to buy a $2 eBook but during the same trip buys a $800 TV you also earn a 4% commission of the TV's sale price. Clickbank does offer upsell on some products as well as membership programs which provides the affiliate with a regular monthly payment.

The beginner affiliate marketing training touches on traffic generation and the best sources to use. It's suggested that you use pay per click (PPC) ads, forum and blog commenting, and links from other sites. I would advise against using PPC as a beginner as without a proper understanding of affiliate marketing you can be fighting a losing battle and burn through your cash really quickly. With many PPC ad services you can have a budget and compared to traditional businesses it is cheap to aquire a customer. If you are selling a product and collecting an email address in the process you could make a profit. It has been said that you can aquire customers on Facebook for $0.50 - $1.50 a click. But remember a click isn't always a guarantee of a paying customer.

Many people state that they get good results from forum and blog posting. And that about 60% of their traffic comes from forums. Blog posting can also bring in more traffic but you need to be approved by the blog owner which means spammy links will be blocked. Some forums are now making forum members pay a fee for adding a signature to their posts.

Other topics include creating content, website building, and outsourcing tasks to fast track your progress to start receiving commission checks fast. For those that don't outsource the technical tasks they will gain the knowledge of the technical tasks required to be an affiliate but will have a steep learning curve to climb. Fortunately, Affilorama informs us how to complete all these tasks with videos accompanying each article to illustrate the lesson.

If you are already an affiliate marketer you may still find some value in the information been shared as no two affiliate marketing courses are the same.
