It Takes A Village Full Of People To Build A City

Hello IboToolBox Members,

Today was a very interesting day for me. I got some things done around the house and still manage to complete some sales. Even had a long term subscriber. This subscriber is a former member of my old website I started way back in 2008. Can you imagine the excitement? After talking for about an hour. (Thinking this person was just catching up after not hear from them for a couple of years.) I found out since I shut my old website down. This unnamed person had been watching me develop over the past two years. Which didn't surprise me that much. (I find lurkers all the time LOL)

So, this person decided to just pop a question out of context to the conversation we were having. The question was " So when are you going to give me a pitch?". I honestly didn't know what to say. I wasn't even thinking about business at all. I was enjoying a conversation that took my mind off of business. I had to tell this person, I didn't think business was on their mind. This person told me that they did want to catch up. But, the conversation was getting to be too long and that they almost forgot why they contacted me. So I started laughing and said. Here's my pitch. This is what I told this person. (Mind you I've known them since 2008) " If you wanted to buy one or more of my services. Why didn't you just act like a customer?" This person said to me, " Because you forgot one thing about me. I'm a bullshitter and you know I like to mix business with friends"

Well after a 60-second laughing fit from this person. We finally got down to business. This person asked me what I was promoting. I asked this person what was it they were looking for. They said that they wanted to advertise on my Instagram page. And they also wanted to advertise on Facebook and the Search Engines. But, they wanted to wait on the Instagram post until next year. Now, I'm expecting a payment for only the services they wanted right now. NOPE! Once again I forget. This person likes to be difficult to test people's patience. And to test a person memory. I get a PayPal payment for 3 months worth of advertising all at once, even before we finished talking. All in all. I didn't get a good laugh and talked to an old acquaintance.

Before ending the conversation, (I forgot to mention, it was a phone call) this person said. "Hey, I have an idea. Why don't you blog about our conversation to your network and at the same time but don't mention my name or business or I'll have to charge you LOL. Try to get some more followers for your Instagram account. You know you need them"

Now, I do a lot of things to attract customers as best I can. Why didn't I think of this before? I have no idea.

So, this is what I'm doing with this article. "I hope it goes viral and helps my follower count." That would be one for the record books. Mine, LOL.

So here is how this should work. Either go to my Instagram Account or just leave a comment about what you think about this post. When you follow my account. Please inbox me and let me know that you came from Ibotoolbox to show some love. And I will follow back.
