Not too very long ago, I was miserable, driving a 100 + mile daily round trip commute to a job that
just about paralyzed my nervous system everytime I thought about traveling there.
My journey has been varied as most. This occupation was supposed to be my most fulfilling one having left the profession of cosmetology to pursue a more stable office job in healthcare.
Something was very wrong with this picture. I could relocate closer but the wages didn't support it or I could leave the paycheck altogether.
It took me eleven years to finally wake up and take the risk.
My manager told me I wouldn't make it, her once hand picked coordinator no longer had any skills sets for success. Depressing, but a most encouraging motivation to prove that defeat isn't my closest companion.
I will however admit the learning curve hasn't been pleasant. I wanted to sit behind my computer in my far distant little small town and reap the rewards of the global internet cash cow.
Tucked so neatly away without dealing with people was my idea of a stressless situation.
So many opportunities pervaled to offer me just that, with huge payoffs. I spent what monies I had to secure positions etc. To date I shutter to think of all the cash that was sent down the tube in persuit of this illustrious illusion. The bottom line is it really doesn't matter which business you are in if you know the basics, had I known then what I know now those spent dreams may have had potential. But who really wants to provide you with workable secrets that made them millions many promise this but most fall short except one.
The one important lesson about home based businesses is you have to interact with people, like it or not and not only by email but by phone.
By becaming partenered with a community of other entreprenuers successful entreprenuers,
I quickly learned that there are systems in place that can assist you in generating more people to expose your business to and I pluged into one of the best. It shortens the learning curve rapidly and provides you with seasoned marketers that lead you down the path towards success painlessly.
My teammates conduct daily wake up calls that provide an enormous lift of spirits, weekly webinars and private coaching. With all the various companies offering direct sales and the volume of people coming into these opportunities you've gotta have an edge. It's about being on your game and realizing just what the game plan is and it's not about the money actually even if we are lead to believe that.
