Property Wikia has been a concern for most affiliates with all the postings online about them being a scam. Here is what I have found out abd you may want to read if your planning on joining their great sounding affiliate program.
I joined their program back in September of this year and of course the old saying if it's to good to be true it probable is, but I was willing to take the chance since the initial investment was low to start with. The only requirements that Property Wikia had was to get homeowners to list on their site and they would pay you $3200 when the property sold in U.S. Dollars. If it didn't sell then they would pay you $160 every week until it did sell. Sounds good to me rather easy to call homeowners or realtors and have them list their homes since the service to them was FREE.
So in October I started hitting the phones hard and talking with realtors and getting properties listed. For the month I got 125 properties listed and had over $400,000 in pending commissions. I was starting to count down the weeks if they didnt sell in the 12 weeks I would get the $160 a week or $20,000 based on my listings. The only requirement left was for the clients to go through the secuity check to verify their the owner of the property. That shouldn't be a problem since I had a spread sheet of everyone's Id # and date enrolled for the secuirty check.
Now this week I had over 100 properties that hit the security check point, I sent out the email letting the property owner's know that they would have to provide Name, Address, Date registered and their property Id# and the county that they listed their property in. Shouldn't be hard since I emailed them the date they started and their Id#. I thought for sure that they new their address and county. Wrong only 6 people got it right and the others failed the security check and it wasnt just me that wass having these same problems. All affiliates were having their clients get denied the security check. Since this is the step before they make payment and if you don't verify the security no one gets paid.
When I questioned Julian Vincent he said tthe clients were putting in wrong addresses and that is why they couldnt get through the security check. My concern was that 90% of my clients were stupid they didn't know there address and the county they lived in, how did they ever get through college. I didn't believe that response so I turned around and called Property Wikia in London to get a better answer the gentleman that answered the phone by the name of Chris, wanted to put me in touch with Julian and I said I was getting no where with Julian and wanted to speak with someone else and he said that Julian was the only one who could help me. As I questioned him about the security check's he got very annoyed and hung up on me. A short time later I received an email from Property Wikia telling me that my Affiliate Account has been closed.
So if you are with Property Wikia and you start asking questions about the way they do things they will shut down your account, be prepared for that. Your wasting your time marketing their prograam since no one will get through the security check and you will have spent the money or time marketing their program. Save yourself the headache and stay away from anything that has JULIAN VINCENT's name on it.
