Focus on what matters

 

Most people involved in online business opportunities have one thing in mind; get sign ups and make money. What if I tell you to get sign ups and making money out of your mind? Will you be able to do that? What if I tell you that you should focus on following training instructions and helping people instead? Will you be able to do it? Surely you can.

 

Get sign ups and making money out of your heads and focus on what matters. It is like taking the bus on your way to an interview for example. You know what time the bus will arrive to pick you up but you are 10 minutes early. Focusing on when the bus will arrive will feel like eternity.  By rehearsing you interview instead while waiting for the bus you might find yourself surprised as to how quickly the bus has arrived.

 

When you have signed up for a business opportunity you have made your decision. You looked at everything including the legality of the business, the product and the compensation plan. Now it is time to focus on what matters.

 

1. Complete your profile in your back office and be sure that your subscription information is also completed. You do not want to lose your commissions because you subscription was not paid.

 

2. Go through the whole of your back office to familiarize yourself with the content and features.

 

3. If they provide fast start training then do that first and follow the instructions.

 

4. Make sure you know where to find pre-written emails and all the links you can use in your advertising campaigns.

 

5. Once you have followed the instructions in the fast start training do the rest of the training as applicable. If someone signs up with you, you will want to be able to tell them about the product, the compensation and how to promote.

 

From now on you patiently persevere in promoting your business to others. Day in and day out you contact people on your list and tell them about your business. Take note; I said “tell”and not “sell”. If you have people on your list you tell them. If you want to sell, advertise with advertising companies or where advertising features are provided.

 

What I found to be working well is when you contact people personally. Tell them that you found something of value and that you will send them an email with the details. If they can afford it and if they trust your judgement they will sign up with you.

 

Except for the introduction to this post, you will notice that I said nothing about making money. Just do what you need do and people will follow you. Focus on what matters and you will be surprised at how quickly the “bus will arrive”.
