Today my blog is about the launch of our new upgraded fully escorted 14-Day tour from Cape Town, the Winelands and Garden Route, South Africa.
Day 1 - Arrive Cape Town Internationl Airport, South Africa - from your national or international flight.
Meet and greet by our own local tour guide.
Transfer to your 4 **** Portswood Hotel in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. The hotel is the kind of place you go to to relax and stay as long as you can by choice! With elegance and stunning grounds and beutiful rooms which all offer an air of comfort, charm and luxury, this hotel is truly unique and we have chosen this hotel especiafor our customers making this journey truly unique.
Overnight for 6 nights on Bed and breakfast basis.
There is no better way to take in the sights than in the comfort of your arm chair in your air conditioned luxury coach. An expert tour guide will assist you to see the very best Cape Town, the winelands and Garden route has to offer.
Expereince Cape town, Table Mountain, Greenmarket Sqaure, Bo Kaap Malay Quarters, Robben Island Museam, vists to Hout Bay and a drive through the very scenic Chapmans Peak Drive to Cape Point Nature Reserve. Stop over in Simons Town and a visit to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
On day 5 enjoy a full day wineland excursion visit the wine growing areas of Paarl, Franschoek and Stellenbosch with three wine tastings and one cellar tour included.
Day 6 - is entirely at your leisure.
Day 7: Cape Town to Oudtshoorn, visit to the Cango Caves, visit the Ostrich farm and a demonstration, an optional visit to Cango Wildlife Ranch.
Overnight in Riempie Estate Hotel. The fist night is on a DBB basis the second night will be on a BB basis as their are many exciting restaurants in the neighbourhood for you to enjoy!
Day 9: Oudtshoorn to Knysna. Travel to Knysna and enjoy the magnificence of this beautiful region, explore the knysna heads, overnight Knysna Log Inn Hotel on a BB basis. EnjoyFerry Cruise on keurbooms river, a light lunch is included This is highly recommended as this allows the visitor to the area possibly the best opportunity to expereince the beauty of the area. vist the Tsitsikamma National Park, return to your hotel for the night.
Day 11: Knysna. After a sumptious breakfast visit the Knysna Elephant Park, Plettenberg Bay, land based whale viewing and return during the aternoon to your hotel and overnight. There are many restaurants in Knysna but we recommend a visit to the Waterfront to end the lovely day.
Day 12: Knysna to Garden Route Game Lodge. Travel to Albertina with a stop in Mossel Bay. Afternoon Game Drive, dinner and Overnight Game drive. Overnight is based on a DBB basis.
Day 13: Garden Route Game Lodge to Hermanus. After early morning game drive and breakfast travel to Hermanus. Overnight at Windsor Hotel on BB basis. enjoy the afternoon along the sea front, possibly land based whle viewing! Or visit the boutiques and shopping.
Day 14: Hermanus to Cape Town International Airport.
Breakfast, time at leisure in Hermanus then travel to Cape Town via the scenic Clarens Drive.
End of Service.
