Columbus Day:Why America will never be great again

We, as Americans, are sometimes too proud of the country we live in with all of many faults. We are suppose to be thriving more than other countries but that's not true. We are almost worse in some areas than a third world country. Don't believe it; google our rank as far as health care. We are definitely not the happiest citizens; probably due to the amount of citizens we put in jail compare to other countries. What many people were attracted to is the freedom this country brings, but considering the other factors is that truly the most important thing? We have a lot of freedom but that mean it doesn't put us at odds with the law in our state depending on that state? With so many laws being different with things being legal in one state and illegal in another state, which to me, causes madness. People being penalized for their ignorance and held hostage by another state.

Don't believe me ask how many citizens in your state are their by choice. Some people can't leave because of probation. Others don't want to leave because of family members. They didn't come there because your state is so great. It was due to circumstances; I almost can say that about anybody not from Mississippi living there now. Many people from the northern states that moved down south to get better lives happen to get kids and now force to stay there to be close. Who wants to endure hostility if you are not the right race?
