So many people are in need of an alternative way to make money than what we were told our entire lives. You know what I mean. The plan is to go to college and work hard and graduate. Then you can find a job in your field (that you love of course) and all is well. This was how it was supposed to be but sadly, it doesn't work that way anymore. Take the recent graduates for instance, they worked hard, did their part but where are the jobs they have been working towards? Times are changing and more and more people are looking for alternatives.
Network Marketing are two words that excite some, peak the curiosity of others while some choose to shut off their mind when they hear the words because they don't want to be "that" person. Some will succeed with network marketing while most just don't. The reality is that network marketing has a failure rate of 90%. Not good odds at all yet more and more people are willing to try because there aren't a lot of other options out there.
I spent a year with a wonderful company but unfortunately I was part of the 90% that failed. I wouldn't take it back however because I learned so much and met some wonderful people along the way. The main reason I believe I failed was because I am not good at selling. This is probably a reason many people fail. I wasn't good at selling and truthfully my heart wasn't in it and I rarely felt good about it.
I'm writing this blog to all of you out there who have ever made a go at network marketing or are thinking about it. If you try and fail, learn from your experience and move on. That is what I did and I sponsored 4 times as many people this month than I did in a whole year with my previous company. If you are looking around at opportunities, I ask you to take a look at what I am doing. I direct people to a website that does all of the explaining and gives the information. We have a 4 step video tutorial that gives the information people need to make a decision on whether this is a good fit for them. I do no selling, there are no joining fees, no inventory, and no home parties. The program is not a MLM (multi-level-marketing) but a Referral program set up on a linear compensation plan that allows everyone to join one after the other in a straight line (I have 6,000+ behind me already). This opportunity is so different than anything else out there. Thousands are having success with this concept and we even have a 90% retention rate with our company. Most of the people I have referred are people invloved with other MLM companies yet they see the possibilities with our referral program and have opted in to our program as well.
