Know your Limits

Knowing your limits will help you in all areas of life. It can help you in business, relationships and your health, as well as your finances. For example you can't go into someone elses home and tell them where to put their furniture. That is just crossing boundaries. I can go on with examples, I just wanted to give an idea.

Knowing your limits with work is also important . You have to know when to take some time off. Life can not only be about work, I mean yes we do have to make a living. We also need time to enjoy our family and friends. That is one of the things I love of being able to work from home. God wants us to enjoy life and it is okay to take a weekend or two twice a year, and even a week  just to make memories with our loved ones, relax and have fun. There has to be a balance in life, and you should never feel like you are missing out on fun with your family.Besides too much work can burn you out, we all need some time to get away from the daily routine and refresh ourselves.

The same goes for too much time off.We can't take two or three weeks off every month either, that would just put us in a hole. Unless you are making the kind of money where you can afford to do that, and pay trust worthy people to take care of your business.Otherwise I would not suggest it.Especially when you are first starting your business or a new job, too many days off will not benefit you.

There needs to be limits in relationships. You can visit people everyday if you'd like, but I would limit the amount of time. Because eventually they may become tired of your company. This is something that we learn in the Bible, in Proverbs 25:17.Just the same as knowing what things are personal and should not be shared with just everyone. Every body should not know what you have in your savings account, that is personal. It's about setting boundaries.

What do you think happens if we eat fast food for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday. It is going to affect our health in a negative way. If we don't eat enough we will be malnourished. There has to be moderation in order to maintain a healthy life. Including stress, too much of it can physically make us sick. Which goes back to taking time off to enjoy life.

If you say I don't make enough to do those things.Try to start saving all of your change in a jar, don't touch it. Add cash to it monthly, $20.00 dollars, $25.00 or what ever would fit your budget. Before you know it you will have enough to do something. We can spend twenty dollars in two minutes at a fastfood restaurant , or on coffee. I'm just saying to know your limits in all areas of life and listen to your body because it might be telling you that you need to take a break.

Thank you for reading this!
