Self limiting beliefs are soul and goal destroying. Overcoming limiting beliefs is one huge obstacle standing between you is your full potential. Self limiting beliefs can be borne of a single childhood experience or a debilitating remark you once heard while growing up but often you will astound yourself when you suddenly forget the remark and achieve that ‘they said you couldn’t achieve.’
That in itself is a wonderful moment. Its essence is proof that you can do anything so long as you believe you can. You see, no one is better than or smarter than you. You have more potential in you that you could ever hope to use in your entire lifetime. So it stands to good reason that people are simply better or smarter at different times in different areas.
You were created with an inbuilt success and greatness. All you need to do is un-harness it. Once you have, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. Anything!
BELIEFS ARE LEARNED
You weren’t born with limiting beliefs. They can to you as you were learning how to live your life. When you change your attitude toward yourself, you automatically change your attitude toward life. Many have looked inside themselves after they questioned their own abilities. They KNEW the truth and could feel that unmistakable determination bubble up from the pit of their stomach. They instinctively knew that nothing could stop them from acquiring their goals. They have managed to double, triple; quadruple their income because they unerringly believed in themselves.
They set bigger goals and pursued them, attained them and went on to grow bigger. They had, through simple belief in themselves; gone ahead to do what their gut instinct told them they could do. They abandoned the conformity, abandoned the herd and went away to achieve. You can do this too. You are destined to be a success in your life. Don’t ever forget it.
A WEE SET BACK CALLED ADVERSITY
On every road to success, all of us bump into a wall of adversity. It is Law. Set backs are a part of your growth and they are necessary for you because when you experience a setback, you have only to look forward to know that your success is inevitable. You will learn valuable lessons along the way that will strengthen you and keep your determination in check.
Napoleon Hill, in his book, Think and Grow Rich, said, ‘Within every difficulty or obstacle there is the seed of an equal or greater advantage or benefit.’ You must believe that because it is true.
THE LAW OF REVERSIBILITY
There are many Universal Laws, but this is by far one that when adhered to, will guarantee you your success.
When you act as if you are already the person you see yourself to be, you know, the successful person with talents and qualities that you desire to have, your actions will give you a feed of the feelings, the emotions that go along with being this person. For example, if you want to be one of the top people in your field, dress like those top in the field people. Follow the actions of those top successful people but do not emulate so much that you look as though you are mocking them. Be discreet. Another, very successful way of getting the points of acting the part is actually going to one of the top people in the field of your choice. Ask them how to get ahead more rapidly. Nothing gets better results than when you sincerely ask someone their advice.
When you start to walk, talk, and dress and behave like the person who is top in his field, you begin to feel that you are the top in your field as well. You will begin to work like the top people work and you will begin to get the results that the top people get. Stick to this remedy like a bulldog with a bone. You will soon notice that you will be a part of that top elite team.
Many of the most successful masters in the field of attaining and manifesting tell us, fake it until you make it. It is the most effective step to take and in no time, you’ll be one of the top elite and you wont have to fake it any longer.
