Remember the moment when you paid your last bill? How did you feel? Were you resentful? Did you feel a nip of aversion because you felt as though you were watching the last of your hard earned savings being swallowed up? Are you constantly worried about paying future bills that you will incur? Are you always wondering where the next dollar will come from now that the last one paid for services or goods that you have used? Did you feel ingratitude slip clear into your consciousness?
When you fail to appreciate what you give but more particularly receive, you are actually thwarting the flow of wealth that you ultimately deserve. Each time you pay a bill with a feeling of resentment, you are sending out a message of ingratitude to the Universe. In turn, the Universe perceives your message as something you desire and so returns to you more resentment, worry and anxiety.
Next time you are paying a bill send a message of thanks and really feel the appreciation. Give thanks that someone gave you trust and appreciated you so much that they lent you their service or product. It could be the telephone that enabled you to speak with your folks, the electricity that enabled you to see what you were eating for dinner last night or the gas that allowed you to shower in hot water this morning. It could be the bill from the utility that enabled you to enjoy that shower. These people had the confidence and the trust to offer their service and or product to you before you paid them.
As you pay your bill remember with appreciation, how what you are paying for has served you and pay the bill with total appreciation. Give thanks for the product or service and be thankful that you’re able to pay for it. When you can do this from your heart you will notice a close relationship with wealth. What you will find when you appreciate is more money at the end of your month rather than more month at the end of your money.
