Everyone who gets into business for themselves has dreams and hopes of that business succeeding. Its not often that we hear the why. Why someone is in the business they are in and what they hope they will achieve.
I have lived in NJ all my life. Grew up in a family that got divorced while I was in high school.
Never went to college or advanced my school education other than a course or two throughout my life. Went to work at a bank, an advertising company, a gym, got my real estate license and when the market tanked get a second job at a furniture store. Worked there for three years and moved on to a better furniture store while still working real estate, started selling on ebay to make some extra money. I was reaching for anything to make money and spending most of my spare time working. I had missed weekends, holidays and picnics with the family as now I was working in retail. I worked long hours, standing most of the day and in between customers I would dream and think of what I really wanted to do. As I stood there one day I glanced at an older man who is also in the same position and said to myself that I do not want to be the age he was standing in front of a door waiting for someone to come in and buy a sofa. It was then I decided to make a change. I began searching for something that would enable me to make money as well as earn my freedom of time back. I sold kitchen products, stamps, home accessories and more and finally found the one business that made the most sense to me and my family.
