Save Save Anyone

Did you remember when your parents put some money away for you when you were growing up because there may have been something that you wanted or just for you to have extra money? You may have gotten an allowance from your parents when you did a good deed, such as you getting good grades in school, doing the chores around the house, or just being a good child overall. Then, after your parents worked to provide for you, they explain to you why they were saving for you. While your parents explained this plan to you, you listen and comprehend what they told you because it would be a good learning tool for you to understand when you go out into the working world.

As time goes by, you become the age when you can start working, around 16 years of age. At this age, you have two more years until you finish high school, and then the desire to go to college, having your own business or going to technical school comes into effect, and then the lessons that we were told from our parents will come into play. From this point, we can't spend that much because of the things that we want to do.

But, the part where it gets even tougher is when you finish college or technical school is that you may get your own place. This is where these life lessons will test you. When you live on your own, you have to keep these things in mind such as:

1) rent

2) utilities

3) car maintenance

4) food

5) gas

6) water

7) car insurance

8) internet

9) cell phone

10) house phone

11) doctor appointments (for co-pays, hospital stays)

12) dental appointments (if they have to operate on you)

11) children expenses (if children are involved)

As you can see, these expenses have to be paid, so you have to be very careful with what you do. You have to put away whatever you can so you are prepared in case these things happen, because they will at some point in time. If you want to treat yourself, you can be frugal, if need be, and try to limit using your credit card as much as possible.

Sincerely,

Kareem

Always Be Prepared
