Celeste Smucker describes the top network marketing secret on thoughts today. Personally I think you must have both in business and personal life positive thoughts. You must start out with the positive emotions. Faith, Love, Desire, Hope, Romance, Enthusiasm and Prosperity.

We can NOT have one negative thought in mind because that is enough to ruin the whole thing. Remember you attract what you think about. When you put out there that you are having fun doing what you are doing then guess what will happen. You will have more fun. People are drawn to that and when you give value to others then they will want to come back for more.

Chapter 1 Thoughts are Things

Imagine the following scenario:  You are meeting a friend for lunch and running late.  You are now five minutes away, but stuck at the busiest intersection in town waiting to turn left (or right if you live in the UK).  You breathe a sigh of relief when you see the  left turn arrow up ahead turn green and the cars in front of you start to move forward. Then just when you are the second car in line, the arrow turns red and you are stuck for yet another round of seemingly endless traffic lights.  You now have a choice.

You can get angry at yourself for running late or for making this lunch date in the first place, the city for having such terrible traffic lights, obviously designed to make your life difficult, your previous client for being late and making you wait and keeping you even longer with stupid questions, your dog for needing you to walk him in the rain this morning and ruining your shoes and so on.  You can also stress about how your friend was probably on time and now you will be even later thanks to the impossible traffic light situation.  

Of course when you arrive late to the restaurant your friend, who had been looking forward to your arrival, sees the frown on your face and feels the negativity you are broadcasting to the whole room.  Suddenly they aren't so sure they want to see you after all and aren't so forgiving as they might have been if you had arrived on time or at least with a smile on your face.  The lunch doesn't go well.  The waiter is impatient, the service is slow, the food mediocre and you leave thinking that's the last time you'll do lunch with this person.  Negativity is hard on friendships.

Now return your thoughts to your car at the moment the left turn signal turns red.  Instead of getting angry you choose to focus briefly on your breathing, taking a couple of deep breaths.  Then you put a big smile on your face and turn on some happy, uplifting music.  Maybe you tell yourself how lucky you are to have this opportunity to de-stress before seeing your friend for a nice, leisurely lunch. 

When you walk into the restaurant you are putting out positive vibes to everyone in the room.  In fact research shows that when people see someone else smile they get a hit in the reward center of their brain.  This helps them feel better and they smile back further raising the vibration in the room.  Your friend is happy to see you and remarks at how well you look...research tells us that people who smile are perceived as more attractive.  The issue of how late you are doesn't come up and the two of you attract a smiling waiter who offers great service and you enjoy a nice lunch.  Before you leave you and your friend make a date to have lunch again next month because the good energy helped spark lots of creative ideas.
