Often we hear "... knowledge is power", and that is at least a half-truth in that the holder of that knowledge is embraced by it, yet it is the application of knowledge that makes it truly powerful.
Many feel that the obligation of those that have achieved a degree of success is to "give back" to other at least a portion of what has been gained so that others can benefit too. By sharing what you have learned with others it is possible to receive new and different kinds of rewards in the form of gratitude and appreciation from those helped.
