Two Questions That Will Help

For those that are considering the possibilities of working online here are two questions that will help.

And if you have already begun your journey then the answers to these questions can help you get better and quicker results from your efforts.



Okay, so here are the two questions.

  • Can you do what is required (skill sets)?

  • Are you willing to do what is required (mindset)?


Many people jump into their efforts to make money online with little or no training. The structure that is provided at most traditional work places are not usually available to support your efforts when working from home.




So finding an online support community can provide the full business model that exist at the traditional workplace.  Most people only do a portion of the full business cycle in a traditional job; they are part of a coordinated system that often consists of specialized job descriptions, departments, and support staff.  While the company/program you select for your online business may handle a lot of the product development there may still be too much left for you to do on your own.  



A good approach is to adopt a support community that breaks the process into:


  • Invite

  • Inform


Initially you can concentrate on inviting people to presentations (the inform portion) that are done by more experienced team members.  




So, as time goes along you can acquire the additional skills necessary to be able to handle the inform aspects of the business cycle too.



You CAN do what is required if you have a good support community ... if you need to find one, consider the Academy Of Home Business (AHB).



Many people fail not because they are unable to do what is necessary, but rather because they are unwilling to do what is necessary.  Lets look at the mindset component.



One of my favorite sources of inspiration is The Common Denominator Of Success by Mr. Albert E. N. Gray.  First presented at a convention in 1946 this message has stood the test of time!



While there is a lot of powerful information provided, the common denominator of success is that successful people do the things that unsuccessful people are unwilling to do.  It is not a matter of ability as much as a definiteness of purpose.  (This mindset component is supported in the AHB community too!)
