Combining The Components

Just about any successful business I can think of has a business plan for combining the components to achieve the results desired.

A manufacturing plant combines raw materials and additional components acquired from vendors to produce a finished product... think about the assembly line of an automotive manufacturer as an example.

An artist takes the raw materials and transforms them into an imagine that was previously only a vision in that artist's head.  Yet it might involve sketches, photographs, and even several renditions before the vision becomes a reality.

As online business builders we have our own components to combine so that we can achieve the desired result.

  • hardware (computer, laptop, smartphone, router, etc.)
  • services (internet connection, wireless service, email server, etc.)
  • list building tools including capture pages and autoresponder capabilities
  • advertising
  • product/service
  • customer service
Determining the types of customers is an important part of a good business plan too.  I have been affiliated with a company that has grown to be among the 100 best places to work in the United States and a part of that company's culture was that it had both internal and external customers... the external customers paid the company for the products and services it provided, the internal customers were paid by the company for their time and efforts.  By encouraging its employees to treat each other with the same courtesy, consideration and respect given to external customers there was a sense of appreciation that makes it a great company.

We can have our own version of levels of customers in that there should be the enduser of the product/service that is in essence a retail customer, and then we may also have affiliates or team members that we are supporting their efforts.

Because I enjoy helping people grow their skill sets I have acquired tools and resources that I can recommend to people depending on their particular level of expertise and experience.  For example, if I am working with someone that has never had a home-based business then I can share the Tax Savings Estimator to show them how to immediately increase their cash flow from their existing paycheck.

If there is a way to turn a necessary expense into an additional profit center then that make good sense to me.  I do that with the computer backup service, my wireless service, my autoresponder service, and with my advertising resources (rather than make all of those keywords hot-links, just message me should you want more information on how you could benefit from any of those areas).

Business builders have vendors just like they have customers, so looking for ways to maximize cash flow on both sides of the equation makes sense to me.

Much success to you in combining the components!
