Because You Don't Know What You Don't Know

The main reason that I stay excited about being a life long learner is because you don't know what you don't know!

Those that are at least somewhat open minded are able to give consideration to information and then apply that knowledge in ways that help them move in the direction of their dreams and goals.

In our world of online business building it is too easy to quickly get just a little information and then compare it to something else that we may have encountered along the way.  While comparing and contrasting CAN be useful, it is also possible to reach too quick a decision on too little information... sometimes it is not only the "what" but also the "how" that can make a BIG difference.

For example, I talked with an educator the other day that watched a short overview of my primary program and emailed me a message that politely informed me that he was not interested.  While I attempted to get him to provide me more insight into what (and why) he was not interested, his mind had closed and he did not respond to my request. Now, it is perfectly okay for anyone to decide the direction of the next step to take, yet someone that has had a career as an educator should understand better than most that "judging a book by its cover" provides little value.

It is possible to earn income these days in so many different ways that many people are too easily distracted by the next thing they hear about and it happens so often that it has even been labeled as "shiny object syndrome".  The good news is that we WANT the aspect of "shiny object syndrome" that appeals to our curiosity, yet the attention span desired might be slightly longer than an eight second banner ad rotating in a traffic exchange website!

Combining the traditional styles of communicating with modern technology may allow us to find the best balance for building toward the future.  If you are still actively readying this article then the "old school" way of convey thoughts through the written word DOES still work!

My hope is that you will decide to lean forward and actively engage in learning more!

"Accept nothing without examination…. Reject nothing without consideration." -unknown

A thought that I like to share with folks is that just like many of us have multiple sources of expenses (housing, food, transportation, utilities, etc.) why not also have multiple sources of income?  If a tool or resource that can be utilized in building my businesses can also be an additional profit center then that is appealing!  And if someone coming into my marketing funnel has needs or timing that are not a good match for my primary program then it might benefit all involved to utilize technology to provide additional information as a way of continuing the conversation.

By refining a process that allows me to gather, sort and select people (the sort and select aspects include aspects of establishing rapport) I have been able to provide a platform that will work for a wide range of products and services.  It just might be a process you could be benefiting from too ... message me for details, because you don't know what you don't know!

Oh, this link IS a GOOD example of the message I hope to convey, this resource is excellent in and of itself, yet it has been refined even more for myself and the liked minded folks I enjoy working with, so I will look forward to sharing some additional insight with those that want to continue the conversation!
