There Is A Reason That They Have Become Household Names

Their names are on some of the most recognizable structures in the country, and while there is a reason they have become household names, that reason existed before they got those naming rights for so many of our stadiums!

AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon have become the Big Four wireless service networks that many of us rely on to communicate in so many ways on a daily basis.

The history of AT&T dates back to the invention of the telephone itself. The Bell Telephone Company was established in 1879 by Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone. Bell also established American Telephone and Telegraph Company in 1885, which acquired the Bell Telephone Company and became the primary phone company in the United States.

Just as historic, Sprint Corporation traces its origins to the Brown Telephone Company, which was founded in 1899 by Cleyson Brown and Jacob Brown to deploy telephone service to the rural area around Abilene, Kansas.
"SPRINT", an acronym for SouthernPacific Railroad International, has as part of its development the decision to utilize the extensive railroad tracks rights-of-way to put together a telephone service network that could attempt to challenge the dominance of AT&T.

While not dating back quite as far, T-Mobile and Verizon has interesting stories in their development too.

The real reason these companies have become giants in the communications industry is our need and desire to be in touch with one another.  We want and need to ensure our connection with family, friends, work and emergency services.  With the inclusion of the internet and social media, today's wireless services are our constant companion usually never farther away than our smartphone.

Until recently you needed to either work for one of these companies or buy their stock if you wanted to receive any income from a connection with them.  Yet NOW there is a company that is also well on its way in its efforts to become a household name, and it is doing just that by allowing you to access most of these national service networks through a marketing plan that is easily allowing people to get their wireless service for free!  Yes, the power of social media is making it possible for a new communications giant to emerge without having to pay for naming rights on stadiums or arenas!

Would you rather get a bill from your wireless network service provider, or would a check and free wireless service be better?  I think I know the answer to that question, so click HERE to get the details!
