The Value And Power Of An Open Mind

Minds are like parachutes; they work best when open.” - Lord Thomas Dewar

“When the student is ready the master will appear.” - Buddhist Proverb

Most everyone that reads this will already have her/his own agenda. We feel it is necessary to be focused and committed on our goals. And sometimes we are in such a hurry that we decide not to take the time to "smell the roses along life's path" as we go hurling ahead.

Any information we did not seek out can feel like a disruption. And we can find ourselves wondering about a person's motivation when something sounds like a really extraordinary value.

If it is so good, then why isn't everyone already on board?

Arthur Schopenhauer (1788 - 1860), a German philosopher best known for his work, The World as Will and Representation. Mr. Schopenhauer contended that the the universe, at its core, is not a rational place. To illustrate his perspective he provided this classic of our existence:

THREE STAGES OF A GREAT IDEA

    Stage One: Dismissed and ridiculed

    Stage Two: Violently opposed

Stage Three: Self evident and universally accepted!

Wow, what a transition from stage one until stage three! Keep in mind, it is proposed that this process generally applies to ALL GREAT IDEAS. When we look back across the span of time there is a lot of evidence to support the way we deal with ideas that challenge the "status quo".

It is sometimes credited to someone just having to "pay his dues" before being recognized and acclaimed.

Yet just as often it can be that those around us are just not paying attention to what we want to share ... and often others think the same of us when they attempt to provide information about something of interest to them.

If a person is naturally curious or actively committed to being a life long learner then your information may be readily received. For everyone else I will share a skill set that can help you in getting others to be willing to hear what you have to say ... just send me a request for it using the "more information" link in the header of this page.

By the way, this free online class is a great example of valuable information benefiting those that are willing to receive it:

Watch this short (less than 4 minutes) overview of how you can live better on your existing source of income!

Want to know more?  Here is a quick tutorial presentation ... just click play!

Below is our flagship webinar!

After viewing this free online class please take a quick moment and provide us your feedback ... it is the way that we continue to improve the value of what we offer.

Those that watch it and provide comments on the feedback form are rewarded with access to a very innovative program.

The Wall Of Disinterest is one of our biggest challenges. Yet often when we make the effort to receive information we are enriched beyond anything we might have imagined ... that is the value and power of an open mind.

SPECIAL NOTE:  I would like to share some extra insights, so message me for details!
